Maxine
Eyes as blue as the sky,
Skin so paper thin.
She felt so cold as
I leaned over and kissed her chin.
Angels were calling her name, but
I wasn't ready to say good bye.
We all heard her take her last breath.
As tears sprang from our eyes.
If there is a heaven,
I'm sure she is there.
Who could say no to her
Smile and silver hair?
Never was there a better
Woman to have been born.
I miss my grandma so much
All i can do is mourn
