Master Monet

The
      complex
becomes
                simple
                detail
disintegrates
to
         shapes
where
         colour
         shimmers-
its
            impression
            melts
before
            our eyes
into
a blurred
               memory

Beautiful. That is exactly how his paintings are. I remember getting really close to one at the Louvre and seeing how it "blurred" as you said here, but the farther back you stand, the more it resembled real life!
