Just my opinion of the direction both the Republican and Democratic debates have gone. It's much more apparent for the Republicans because there are so many of them doing the same thing. Be very careful for whom you vote, the one elected, no matter the party, could easily enhance the discontent we're presently experiencing. Everyone please vote so at least the majority of the country helps determine what happens next..

Master Debaters

Master debaters are really great
We've seen them on TV
Jerking us around a lot
Making little sense to me

Speaking little of the issues
Would rather get down in the mud
Want to speak of how they're heroes
And the other guy's a dud

I question their abilities
And if they're qualified
They like their chicken baked
While the country likes it fried

If you think this poem is silly
So are debaters on the stage
Their child-like interactions
Really put me in a rage

None of them are qualified
Never been the president
Never in the military
When others signed and went

Now they want to be the chief
Of the military clan
How can they be commander
Of what they don't understand?

They speak of  illegal orders
That other presidents have signed
They'll sign orders to negate them
Doesn't that just blow you mind?

Will throw away what they don't like
No matter that it's law
Can't think of a more foolish thing
That I've ever seen or saw

Watch closely who you think you like
What they say that they can do
If the Constitution says they can
Then they're the one for you

A good poem. Use of metaphor make a poem better. Great stuff
