Masquerade

Dancing in a golden ballroom,
Crystal chandelier over my
head,
Dressed up in black and red,
Matching mask covering my
eyes.

Candles floating around,
Music playing in dark tunes,
Waltzing with my lovely man,
Feeling alive, heart pounding.

Red roses all over the floor,
Tables dressed in black lace,
Hearing the raven's call,
People in beautiful attire.

Loving this atmosphere,
Finding peace and harmony,
A wonderful place to be,
Wishing it could never end.
