Masks I Wear

The mask I wear, Is to protect myself, From you, I put on a mask, To cover up the tears, The tears I cry over you, I put up walls, Because I don’t want to be hurt, These walls protect me, From the dangers of the world. The mask I wear, To cover up the pain, The pain you have caused, The pain that I cry over, Tears to fall, I put up a act, To see how people take it, Also to save me the pain, The pain I only understand, The pain that you have caused. These tears that I shed, Is from you, That’s why I wear a mask, The mask that covers me,
