Masks

We reveal what we want people to see. One of my favorite things I love to share is about the “Johari Window.” We hide things from others, also things we don’t know about ourselves, others know things we don’t know about ourselves and then there are things known by all. So interesting!

POWERFUL.Those with confidence don't wear masks, confident in the fact that they are a perfect child of God. We know this at birth but forget once here, as the days and dysfunction go by and erase His love and truth. Hopefully, the pain will cause all who need truth to reach out, & then probably be better than best in the confidence department. Your poem is true, an unnecessary sadness caused in childhood. I pray all find their path to vanquish it. I wore no mask, but I wasn't a tryer, I was a hider. So, I did get mine back, slow, steady & sure.

I like the simplicity of this poem that tells so much truth about how we fear to show our true selves. Ripping off that mask is so much easier said than done.
