Masked Truth

Let love be the tempest and heartache the conclusion
yet we never see fate nor can we predict it in detail.
For a weak heart worn on a sleeve given to freely isn't an allusion
when love shall be our biggest hurt
yet love will be the tallest mountain to climb:
No! we take to much time to ponder in alert.
Holding and mingling together our hands
leaving our comfort and placement for something new.
Traveling together for many lands.
I will incompass your serenity.
I will be there in the end
For you I would mask my dignity
No matter the strife or chance to be taken.
I will always look to you as you look to me.

"I will encompass your serenity." <-- this. My first thoughts on reading this: A verbal slow dance. Truly impressive.
