Masked

When I'm in a crowd I paint a face that I think people will embrace
I know I sound like a disgrace
When I'm alone I'm empty and lost
Don't have any idea on who I am
It's something I ask myself over and over
Am I the girl who's to be alone and unhappy
Or is there by chance a life past the mask and loneliness
I just have to ask
Who am I
Just tell me

....society, a consumer world....teaches people to sell themselves while they are young....development of the inner spirit is often left till after a job success...... that's wrong.......stan no two people on the planet are the same....
