Mask

For many reasons, we wear many mask,
Used to hide the way that we really feel.
This is the way that we learn to how to deal
With avoiding that self-reflecting task.
Behind these mask, we continue to bask,
Instead of opening up to be real,
So that we can allow those wounds to heal
All by themselves, without having to ask.
Take off your mask, so that you can be free
To not worry about what others say.
Take it off, and you will finally see
Yourself reflected in a brand new way.
Take it off, so you can be free to be
What you wanted to be every day.
