I think 99% of people do this.. many of us are like swans... we look calm on the surface, but its all erratic underneath..

So Very true... And it's sad that we can't always just be natural... It's as if societal norms about being "acceptable" have kept our true selves hidden from sight. It's not easy being authentic. Thank you for your visit and comments much appreciated, my Friend!

Indeed we all do this in adherence to dress codes right? Men can go top less but women can’t of course. But oh to be free of a bra! lol I digress this is an engaging thought provoking poem! Good job!

I agree with you. I think as we age most of us embrace our natural look. If we are wise anyway we do.

I think so many of us, are pressured to look "super good" in public... I think the more sure one is of oneself, the more freedom we give ourselves to be natural in our looks. Just Musing... : D
