Mask
You seemed different,
unlike the others
When you said you weren't like them,
I trusted your words
Oh what a fool was I, yes indeed
to be used as a tool for you to succeed
So you thought that I could be bought,
with materialistic and life's finer things?
Nope not me,
never would I become that person.
Oh what a fool was I, yes indeed
to be used as a tool for you to succeed
You start to thirst my love
while your body burst into flames
From under the fire
of my heart's desire
Then you look at me with such sorrow and despair
although I really dont care
I see the real you
I see behind the mask
The mask you always wear.
