we met in the rain
you were the starship
i was the sojourner
and you talked to me
i was not hurried
you were not shy
in the quiet twilight
we found the secret
i’ve roamed the world
on each great day
i’ve softly wondered
is this our lost way
mashadi please listen
this is a love song
if you can hear
don’t shed a tear
