Mary's Song
How could I have known,
That the chosen one was me?
Just another girl from here
Who did not see beyond her potential.
But indeed this is the hand of God
The mysterious miracle worker
Who's ways we never understand
And who's plans only he knows.
Why then arrange for tomorrow,
When it is all in His hands?
All sunrise and sunsets
Even the direction of rough winds.
From now on I will sing for glee,
I will sing of the forgotten promise,
That God does love the world,
And he has loved me this much!
My days are now an eternal madrigal
For now I have been truly graced,
To live with the Lord under my roof
What more can one ask for?
Only Hallelujah is my rejoice
Only the heavens are my desire
I have been greatly blessed
Amazing grace is now my story.
