Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary

Mary Mary quite contrary
Stays inside when it is dreary
She won’t water the plants
Or pull the weeds
She won’t thin the carrots
Or sow the seeds
She doesn’t till the soil
Or push the plow
She just sits on the couch
With her cat Meow.
