Marvels Of His Gift
Seething life spreads stifling smoke far and near,
clouds blurred mind with skeptic obscurity.
Beauty unseen in biased sight not clear,
morphs in mind contoured by uncertainty.
From depth of depression it’s time I steer
life’s sunk ethics, value it’s sanctity.
It’s time I leave bleak psychic scene behind,
blossom flowers in garden of my mind.
Sunburst sky’s shades I see horizon smear
on dew adorned meadow of jade grass new.
Cradled by satin leaves buds bloom to cheer,
as petals dance on crescendo of hue,
zephyr transmits the fragrance to endear,
butterflies flit on its lure, floating through.
On waves of cadence divine marvels drift,
create for me spring’s opus as His gift.
