Marshmallows and Coconut

Summertime is approaching
The smell of the fresh water lake
Waking in the morning, to sit on the rocks
Listening to the cries of the Loon and Whooping Crane

Oh how this time is missed
To finally see the last snow melt away
The warm spring days arrive
With a year wiser, we appreciate the wilderness

To be one on one with nature
To spend the summer with each other,
Nature is ours to explore
Side by side we enjoy our land

Bonfires at night with toasted marshmallows
Coconut and Raspberry Wine
This time we hold so dearly
Our time together for reflecting
