"Marshmallow Heart"
Soft touch She’s a soft touch Big cat’s lost. Black and grey, Striped and marbled, marking steps wet Unfriendly, in an unfriendly neighbourhood Floors 10 A life spent in the pen Soft touch She’s a soft touch The right bower waits watching gently, stroking a Marshmallow Heart The hidden Jack smiles somewhere in the Stack Somewhere in the Kitty a Marshmallow Heart melting Small life Big city (LadyLabyrinth / 2020)

Even when we are at our lowest of lows and maybe a little feral there is always love to be found by a giving soul

I never quit on LOVE. I shall persevere with the old "Moonie" girl. I had considered, the other night while standing in the silent unfriendly corridors and stairwells here, with blood dripping down my arms, from being scratched to hell and back, about 'surrendering' her...she just wants Love and she has my full attention. Heaps of that to give. She has been tossed from breeding pen, to plane, to breeding pen. Unsocialised, one might say. I shall have her eating out of my hand again in no time.

"LOVE - even when your heart is broken. Be a light in someone's darkness. If you lose your spark and fall down, get up and become the whole damn fire."

An exercise in resilience and Love. My daemon, Moonlight (aka Moonie). Escape Queen. Feral. Bengal.

last night Moonie, after many days of calm and settling in...made a run for it. At 10.15pm or there abouts, when I went to put the garbage out, she made a run for 'freedom', up and down 4 flights from Level 10 to level 6, successfully peeing (large) on an unfriendly neighbour's door. I managed to grab her by the scruff of the neck after 2 hrs (without any fight from Moonie, poor puss) into the Cat Carry on Level 6 and at 12 am walked back up to the top floor, at The Ritz. The girl is completely Feral. I shall persevere - I will not give up on her.my right arm is scratched and bleeding to the bitten ends of Hell. She hasn't left my side since, sitting sheepishly wrapped up in swaddling (baby's rug) beside me, faux sleep. LLB, queen bee from Hell. x
