Marriage Made In Heaven

Nowadays, in the world of disposable marriages it is great to see someone be together for more than a few short years. I’m seeing a trend where those not married in church have a longer or perpetual relationship. Do you see that too? My thoughts are, that since the world was created by God then everything upon it is overseen and can be blessed by God. Shouldn’t those that take vows and not break vows, though not in the church, still be recognized as being married? Why must some stand at an alter, when the world is His to see, in order to be recognized in union? After all, I don’t remember a priest or rabbi in the story of Adam and Eve. If being married outside the church is a sin, but is confessed, are you still living in sin? Isn’t a marriage that is made in heaven, a union of two that share their love and compassion? Isn’t it the agreement to be strong and be there for each other no matter what? I say that a marriage made in heaven actually takes place in your hearts and can be seen by all.
