Marriage In Name Only

There are those among us who marry to
make a statement, sometimes to silence
friends and naysayers, or just to prove to 
themselves they can nab a player,
Then there are those who marry for convenience,
regardless if the person matches their profile
or fits their lifestyle, the person could be an albatross,
but all these variablles don't matter because even after they marry
they intend to dabble and stray,
Simply, because their other half is not able to fulfill obligations
in so many ways, so, they get their kicks anyway they can,
secretly and underhandedly, in covert missions with individuals who are
specially recruited to play,
No one's the wiser or cares, until, confronted with thir activities unaware......

Wow! this lovely poem takes me back to a book I read titled Marriage of Inconvience. "Marriage in name only" makes an interesting read, keep writing, Margeret.
