Marriage For Many a Curse...A Choice

So if we look at the statistics, study what the research says, the writing is on the wall... in many cases it is better to be single or it's way better to be gay... why get into your big white frock, sadly all the rest of us know marriage is a crock... so "man and wife" exchange your vowels, loose words shattered, now children are on the way... ah a diversion, we'll stay a little longer, look what he's produced, a real man he feels...until something younger comes along, then his truth he reveals... A woman asked me one night in a bar, why did I prefer women, I corrected her immediately, and stated clearly woman, I went on to explain, my partner is lovely gentle, soft, unselfish, honest...satisfaction guaranteed, just to be polite, I asked her why did she enjoy being with men, she responded, "I like being held by something big and strong... (held)... ...good on her I thought, thinking to myself, I am so on the right track, this was when I was about twenty four... ...looking back, I am ever more convinced when I look at the breakdown, and the eroding of the family... her choice, for me, is unrelated distance... ...and what do I know... I haven't been straight married... this is what men and women who have tell me.. At the end of the day, it is all about choice, marriage for many is a curse... who has that much precious time to waste, to give your heart in haste... regret, forever more... I understand that everyday will not be bliss, but the choice for me... I'd rather go through it with a hers, than with a his...
