Marriage (Contest...Choose One, Have Fun)
It’s all around me,
But it doesn’t look so beautiful;
Not when it is all so vile.
They say it is wonderful,
It’s said to be perfection,
In my eyes, to life, it is an exile.
When every time you see it,
There’s a slap in the face,
And a scream for mercy and change.
There are objects that fly,
Children thrown in danger,
And a mother’s mind becoming deranged.
Just from the sights that encircle around me,
Marriage doesn’t seem such a peaceful sound for me.
