Marriage

Maybe for some but not for me
At least that's the way it appears to be
Right or wrong that's what I see
Really isn't bad though being free
I never believed someone held the key
At least I'm sure it wasn't he
Going to be happy is what say she
Even if there will never be a we

You can only really be married if you can be yourself entirely within the marriage. Those that make it work really have a holy experience.

Marriage and children develops adults if they are willing to grow and change but some get stuck and it is hard to know which ones will grow and change. I like the way you approached the subject of this poem. Keep writing. Sara
