MARRIAGE
Conjugal happiness, blissful memories
A woman's dream, a man's fear
The assumed long-term institution
To some, it's a must
For many, it's an option
If only the almost newly wedded could peep
and see the end from the beginning
They won't embark on the journey.
The most sarcastic school on earth
Partners become new every morning
Everyone seems to be a sham
The once heaven-sent man and our virtuous lady
Suddenly becomes an imp
It was at first a bed of roses
but euphoria soon gave way to despair.
A pleasant pain and memorable loss
Since two different characters merge to become one
The most visited school
Some go for visits, some to lodge
Most to enjoy but later to endure
Others to taste something different
A world on its own
A strong desire filled with qualms
Certain yet confusing
The most cherished big city
Awesome stories about day one
will forever be repeated.
One of the most expensive risks
A life gamble
No man's land, every woman's world
Turns a lady to a woman
Changes the guy to being a man
Once entered, motherhood is imminent
Sacrificing trials, hopeful tomorrow
Outer worry, inner damage
Imperfect perfection, beautified enclosure.
