"...The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones..." From Shakespeare's play. I've studied and memorized portions of Antony's speech on the death of his friend. The way he keeps patronizing Brutus, calling him noble, "an honorable man," is masterfully sarcastic. Wow, I'll be thinking of this all night now. Really like your clerihew. A fave for me of course. Ah yes, a true masterpiece of skilled oratory... Have you ever watched the movie version with Charlton Heston playing Antony? That's the version to see! (Not the Marlon Brando version). You can watch the clip of just the funeral oration on YouTube. I believe it's 9 minutes 7 seconds long/short. Enjoy! And thanks for the FAVE; that's always a thrill for me. ~ Gershon
