March Surprises

                      waterfalls gurgle
               to hanging ice formations
                     surprises in March

Hi Heidi, I think more people should immigrate to sunny South Africa, although we have had hotter days this Autumn than we did in Summer, i do like your HAIKU very much and it is typical of what climate change is altering weather patterns all over the world. Hope you are keeping well, Kindest regards, Jennifer.

Thank you very much Jennifer. The weather here has certainly been wild recently. We also will be having a total solar eclipse here Monday. It is nice to see you. I hope you are keeping well too :)

I like this image-laden haiku, Heidi... How about this for an April 3 vision in Chicago today: 'Frosted flakes of snow for breakfast.' Ugh. Typical first week of April around these parts. ~ gw

I like that Gershon. Frosted Flakes. Thanks for the smile. We have over a foot of heavy snow with many trees down. Let's hope April gets better :)

A very touching haiku written in the classic Japanese style. You transported me to a beautiful winter place. (Next time remind me to bring a coat)

A beautiful haiku dear Heidi where you have captured such a vivid scene. March certainly does conjure up surprises - the beauty of nature and its elements. Really enjoyed the artistic poem. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you :)

Maybe not the kind of surprise we like to see in March, but a wonderful haiku.

For sure the weather is quite moody at the moment. Hanging ice--moment beautifully captured, Heidi--soon it will be gone.

Moody for sure Vijay. Snowing hard. 12 to 18 expected here, then more snow and freezing rain on top of that tonight. I hope your day is going ok thank you for your comment, my friend:)
