March Madness

Feeling mad as the "Hatter" and only half human
I tremble and shake my fists at the sky
In the midst of this journey I need some acumen
Still,I tear at my hair and I ask myself why

The wild winds of March come creeping and blowing
Inside my brain and into my soul
And all the while I'm desperately knowing
This madness is rising and taking it's toll

But I'll dust off those boot straps and pull myself up
Ready to shake off the troubles around
I'll start to imagine that half-full's the cup
Tomorrow's a new day and hope will abound
