March in Minnesota

The air feels different 
Forgiving, even kind!

Chicadees & Robins flitting 
From bushes to trees 
Recon flights scouting 
Proper nesting sites

A Bald Eagle flew overhead 
This morning as I travelled
The motorway 
Good luck!

A muddy penny, unloved, castaway
Zinc replaced copper 
Time replaced need

Escape from Winter's icy womb!
