Marbles

Marbles are big, marbles are small.
Marbles can be played in the spring and the fall.
Marbles always can roll all around,
often in places they will never be found.
Marbles come in colors of yellow and green,
blue and purple and all colors between.
Marbles in people often are lost.
Marbles are generally always low cost.
Marbles are for the young as well as the old.
A pocketful of marbles can make you feel bold.
Marbles in fountains , marbles in tanks.
Marbles are enjoyed by both rebels and yanks.
So enjoy your marbles while you still can because
When you get old you may lose them again.

You brought back great memories of my Dad's marbles... I used to play with them at Grandma's house. Congrats on the win!

this is wonderful. A poem all about marbles. If Susan ever does a contest about marbles, you will have to enter it!! One time she did just Buttons, so there is always a chance. Congrats on your win. I really love yours.
