Maple Leaf

maple leaf slowly turns yellow reflects from creek.. lone curled leaf floats down More leaves fall from the same tree They dance carried on the wind yellow maple leaf lands upon a rounded stone... fall's decoration fierce winds whip the trees and leaves blow across garden.. lawn of yellow leaves Yellow reflected 'pon lake Teardrop breaks placid surface the whistling winds blow the last cured leaf to the ground... laughing children play

Jack seems to be getting around. Yesterday I saw a red maple leaf. It died so young.

I especially like the ending haiku. All were descriptive of the maple tree. Sara, do you realize jack has aided at least three people in that contest so far. hahaha. He is the go to guy at Soup!!
