Come with me love and you will see
How happy we will always be
Where you led me I did follow
Many many long years ago

Oh our adventure was such fun
Free spirits every rising sun
Never a worry don't you know
Many many long years ago

Somewhere along life's long highway
Exactly when I cannot say
You left me for Heaven’s halo
Many many long years ago

I wonder now where you might be
Among the stars over the sea
When God said it was time to go
Many many long years ago
