Many, Many Long Years Ago

Many, many long years ago.
Our first meet on a rainy night
both drenched, waiting near the campsite;
I can't forget the moment, though
Many, many long years ago.

Casually looked at you but
I couldn't dare to speak, kept mouth shut;
desired to share thoughts those arose,
Many, many long years ago.
Felt for many years I know you;
Maybe thought to look deep into
your mind what lies for me, to know
Many, many long years ago.
Yes, I should have much more courage
to speak, vision failed to flourish;
Still wish, if your thought I could know
Many, many long years ago.
