Man's Future?

Way back when, with a club to the head,
the men led the cave dwelling clan.
Though dinosaurs roamed upon the earth,
the leader of the earth was man.
One day when the world had frozen,
both man and dinosaur, too,
fell into the earth as a fossil, forming
a time posted reference for you.

Later in time, as man stood erect
they still walked with their clubs in their hand.
Now, they were thinking and formulating speech,
creating a future for man?
No, man had succumbed to the evil around
and for that, became an animal, as well.
As a result of all selfishness and stupidity
the world has gone to hell!
