Watching the news with a
Certain sense of urgency
All this misinformation 
And repetitive monotony
Are they just the 
Manifestations 
Of your depravity
As your social life 
Drifts on past
It’s firewood
Do you really believe you’re 
Just misunderstood ?
It’s a pretty odd situation 
You’ve gotten yourself into
Did you think we wouldn’t see through ?
See through
See through it
Your complacency?
You cover your face

It’s a courtesy 
Your mask has become your new reality
The mask of common sense
You swore to provide for the common defense
The mask

When will you be aware
Of your misogyny ?
Must be part 
Of your heredity

How will you secure the blessings of
Liberty  ?
For yourself and your posterity
Will you change your mind

Welcome to the world of self doubt

I imagine anyone "professional" would be a treat. Meanwhile up here, we have a minority government that is working astonishingly well. Unpresidented. I am a Democrat, but I am tired of the divisiveness ! I think we will all be happier with a more professional administration whether it be Democrat OR Republican.
