Man of the Moment

Roll out the drums
Let the beaded waists twist and wind
Loud the music to the peak
Shoot the guns in the air
Let the smoke wander to the east

Draw out the swords and hold back the spears
Let the warriors form a passage and not a wall
For we are out to celebrate and not a war
With all your might shout and hail the man of the moment

We hail thee and praise thee
The king of the moment we hail thee
Not the king of the jungle but to the head of the empire
We hail the king of grammar
Who acts no drama
Praises showering from the drummers

Blessed be your day
Honoured be your years
Hope filling the years ahead
But this day just for you to conquer
We rise from the south
Joining the force from the far north and the near west
The east submits at thy foot
And we all say
Happy birthday to our brother.
