Man of Kind

In a world of wandering souls, I seek the man of kind, A beacon of wisdom, steady and whole, Unbound by the chaos of the mind. A man who strays but finds his way, Back to the essence of his being, Serene and still, come what may, Resisting the temptations fleeting. Imagine a man standing tall, Amidst the rumple and the fray, Refusing to succumb to the fall, Choosing the righteous path each day. I yearn for a man of sense, A father to nations, a guide, Respecting women without pretense, Raising children with love and pride. In the midst of all mankind, I search for that rare gem, A man who will never be blind, To the sacredness of being human. A man preened and conservative, Yet open to growth and change, In a world so often disruptive, I still long for a man so strange. For in the vast expanse of humanity, Amidst the flaws and the flaws, I dream of a man of true integrity, A beacon of light, a noble cause.
