Man In the Cave
Bellicose grunts
and flatulent echoes
heard around a skull-lined Neanderthal fire
Misogynist going ons;
newly upright walking wrong,
behaving like apes
Dragging their women by the hair,
putting them in the cattle line
Perfect breeders are the ones who look fair —
on a hunting trek,
female children always get left behind
The women teaches the girls
to gather the food, and pour the wine
As the man on the raised stone throne,
sits observing the ordered chaos within
Gross darkness is his bottomless pit friend
He loves the darkness of the cave,
cannibalistic deeds
not seen in the light is what he craves
Feeding on the flesh of the fallen enemies,
a feast fit for a necromancer king
The man in the dark cave
wears the coveted ruler blood ring
It glows ruby red in the night
by the skull circle of fire
As dreadful gender misdeeds
transpires all around the cavern keep,
his scowl of approval
encourages the men wolf beasts
to continue to rape the female sheep
Then someone put some fire on a wooden limb,
and ventures out into the wilderness night
This pleases the man in the cave ...
now he carries forth his darkness by light
