MAMMA

"Mamma."

Mamma,
Loves me so,
She helps me grow,
She makes me glow.

Mamma,
Sees me through,
Helps me be true,
Loves me too.

Mamma,
Tells me to,
Learn and to know,
The right way to go.

Mamma,
Sings and plays,
Laughter all day,
I'm happy that way.

Mamma,
Puts me to bed,
Tucks me in tight,
Turns off the light.

Mamma,
Kisses my cheek,
Tells me "Good night,"
I smile in delight.

Silent One March 10, 2024 at 8:47 AM Instead of 'ABC' you can use free verse as a form for this poetry.. It normally covers most poems... I like how you formatted this one and I can see your love for your mamma.. a lovely poem.. It is Mother's Day here in the UK, so I thought it would be nice to feature mum related poems..
