Mami. Beautiful Wonderful 
Mami alone with 8 children
Papi. Walked away.
Mami was strong and gentle
Mami kept us protected
Mami loved us. Oh did she love us.
Mami fed us. Not herself
Mami needed only to survive 
Mami raised us all alone
Mami has 8 strong, smart educated children
Mami is an abuelita with nietas y nietos who adore her
Mami died. Mami was never alone. Mami was loved
Mami was fierce. Mami was brave. 
Mami was an Angelic Miracle.
Papi? Who? 
Who cares?

You mention your father like you don't know who he is or who cares. Please don't take it wrong. Just say a prayer for him - he played a big part for you being here. I know - I had to raise my daughter by myself, 40 years later she met her father. God bless you always. I think i saw your face on Facebook. Did I ? Lucilla
