Mama's Hands

My mother has long
And delicate fingers
Made for caressing
As she strokes my hair
So sweetly in the night.

Her lovely hands
Are soft and fragile
Not as young as in my youth
Delightful and tender
Soothing my weary heart.

Thanks, Christy. I cherish the times my mother and even more so as she is in her 80's now.
