Mama's Boy

A mother and son
Being very close
Is he her only son? O
Or is there another?
I wonder about that

Making the the mother
React to do her bidding 
To control her son
To do everything 
She wants him to do

Son wants to marry
He meets someone nice
The friendship grows strong
They go out on a date
No one is good for him

Then mother meets girlfriend
First they get along
As time goes by it changes
She finds fault with her
Listing  all the faults 

Mother and son argue 
Speaking her thoughts
About his girlfriend
He disagrees
Mother and son argue

With no solutions
He is the mama's boy

Son and mother don't see each other as often, and mom criticizes the girlfriend, how will things end when this young man has always been a mama's boy. A fave, i have seen a relationship like this within our extended family, very sad. Be loving and strong and she will learn the lesson and come around eventually. But when a mom ruins the relationship between the girlfriend and her son, by always being there with them is not good. Finding fault with the girlfriend in front of her is horrible. Jennifer Proxenos July 24, 2022 at 2:32 AM This is a problem, but one that can have a happy ending. i have seen marriages that have broken up because of mother in laws. My mother in law tried hard but i was firm and always answered firmly and politely, as for the phone calls, we somehow got our number whenever she phoned always on my husbands phone,to not ever be available and eventually my husband picked up her drift, and also answered her back appropriately, perhaps I was one of the lucky ones.
