Mama Eagle

Mama eagle,
Why didn’t you see Papa eagle for the maniac he is?
Well, I guess you didn’t pay heed to the warnings of deceptions.
It has now made you to raise these eaglets alone.

The role of two,
You’re hot and cold,
You’re also black and white,
Teaching these eaglets how to survive while flying through life.

There’ll be a time you’ll have to let go,
Dropping these eaglets from the top of a mountain,
Once, twice but not thrice will you save them.
You won’t watch them hit the ground and die, But you’ll fly away praying and hoping they survive.

I love you very much mummy.
