Mama, Don't Cry

Mama, Don’t Cry Mama, why are you crying? I can’t hear the teardrops soaking into your pillow, but I can hear your little hiccups, as you try to be quiet. Are you sad, Mama, because you couldn’t buy me bread? Or are you hungry, too? Do you feel bad because the gas went off and we are cold? Don’t worry, Mama. Something good will happen tomorrow. I know it will. Don’t cry, Mama.
