Mama Africa

Mama Africa
She gave birth
To the world
Ask the degon tribe
In Mali
Or ask I ancestors
Her origin is divine
No wonder hypocrites
Translate her divine
Creation to manipulate
The innocent
Yet she stand all
The test of time

Mama Africa
She gave light to the world
Yet darkness never stop
Existing in the shadows
Of evil doer's
What else do we want
Cos all that cost us death
She already provided
For free to be alive
Only for the sake of our freedom
She gave light to the world

Mama Africa
She was the mother
Before the mother's
Her birth was the form
Of our human existence
Before the existence of strange
Being
Who never died
Or was crucified more than
The curse of the bleeding mother
Mama Africa

Mama Africa
Her existence is the prove of love
She was not of wars
But a creation of humanity
And within her arms
Lies the heart of peace
So why we chose ignorance
Wonder my soul
Why must we destroy
What we can't create
No man can create a soul
Yet can let it bleed
Just like our mother bleeds now
Mama Africa
