Mama

Your tongue is full of countless words
But you chose the best to feed my mind
You gave me purpose
Not just parcels
You’ve gone through pains and scornful moments
And that smile has never divorced your face
You spilt out love like heaven’s showers
And even the barest of it will make me breath
Though I fall during my duty, I only fall
because perfection is inhuman
Let the rain wash away your fear
And may the sun dry away your tears
But if the ocean waters dry, I will cry my tears to sail you through
