Your brief loving description sold me about wanting to go there, Paul. I went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and I fell in love and would move there in a heartbeat. As for the poem "Gazelle" it is fiction, sad to say. But I remember moving to a new place when I was thirteen. And the school I went to that year, there were these two beautiful twin girls whose house was right across the street. I would sit in class and watch them. That is the inspiration for the poem. Love you always.

Paul, this sounds heavenly, I imagine it's gorgeous. All I can think of when I hear Malta is Popeye & Olive Oyl. :)

Thank you Paloma! I suppose we all see beauty in our home countries:) Yes....the movie Popeye was filmed in Malta; nowadays the film set is being used as a local and tourist attraction...very popular. Regards // paul

Beautiful!!...nice to love where you live!...I have yet to ride a horse on a beach...your island sounds like a great spot for that:)
