yes, you know me well guessing Teasdale for me. I am so silly though. I did not realize I had to do different THEME. I did not want to SEE what she wrote becuase I did not want to be influenced. So I went back to see the poem and found that of course, she had made it a love poem. What other way to do it?? I hope It does not keep me off the winners' list!! I will try to find a poem of yours I have not yet read, but wish me luck. Gotta make dinner soon!!

This makes me remember my father who was stationed on Malta ( submariner during the 2nd WW). I remember him telling me the island got the George Cross for valour. Very best wishes~Delice

So I take it that you are British, Delice! My wife is English, and her father was on the cannons in Malta during the war, too. He was here when the George Cross was awarded for bravery to Malta and its people in 1942. All the best. // paul
