Mallard Ducks of Clear Creek

Water runs so,
swiftly as three
mallards enjoy
   their swim.

Eating so well,
    of insects,
they find so
   delicate.

Trying their
hardest to swim
up stream to
reach new adventures,

until finally they
fly away to
another shore,
where they gather,
    once more.

I love to watch ducks and have fond memories of watching them at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and at Virginia Beach. You make the scene come alive. Peace Matthew Anish
