Mall

MALL It takes all kinds All kinds and shapes (Let’s single one out) I wonder what he does? Eats” Where he lives? What he THINKS? Some kind deliverance denies access Along the scale-line of good and evil positive and negative is there music? What color is red? What are his personal private dimensions? I sit on a bench fascinated; They all pass by – sale-duped And if you watch long enough you forget self - The faces! Bodies! Heights! The strides! - You brush guilt aside Laugh like hell inside

Hi Daver.I'm a people watcher too.(We) fascinate me.I Look at their faces,so many frowns.Yet not the young ,they pour out of the college so uninhibited loud voices and laughter but then the world belongs to them. It's the old that touch me that appear lonely and look so tired. On a lighter note re your poem which I really enjoyed I also wonder what kind of houses they live in and love to watch the children.Agree, we're all unique,so is our poetry.Glad you liked mine, thanks Love June(Sylvia)

are you a mall rat watcher, dear daver? If I were in a mall and sitting down (almost unheard of!) I 'd be working on a poem probably. Anyway, this is great fun. In the same way that rhyme is natural for me, this style of capturing things in a very interesting way, this is your forte in free verse! Luv, Andrea

Having just returned from Christmas shopping, I saw many of the "sale-duped" faces at the stores. It's like they're in a trance, reciting, "Take my money, please, I want my family to have a Merry Christmas. We seem to have lost the true meaning of the season. Much love, Carolyn
