Malibu Girl

You fit perfectly in my arms
I fell victim to your charms
We shared a loving season
Living free without a reason

My Malibu girl,
you took my heart for a whirl
My Malibu girl

Our little place a top floor attic
Too young to hear the static
The more we took the more we gave
Young lovers learning to be brave

But the summer came to an end
And the love was too young to defend
As the bus pulled away I saw your face
The moment froze my pain in place

Someday I will find your heart
And hold you close never to part
Together in the Malibu we’ll ride
And forever you’ll be at my side

My Malibu girl,
you took my heart for a whirl
My Malibu Girl
