Making a Quilt by Robert (Bob) Moore © 2016 I’m going to make a quilt today if nothing else gets in my way he’ll want a cup of tea I know as soon as I sit down to sew. I tell him that the needles stuck he says that he will have a look don’t know what he thinks he can do doesn’t know a bobbin from a shoe He sits down, all full of zeal, but then he asks me where’s the wheel there’s no belt, no pedal too don’t know what I am going to do I know a Singer Sewing Machine but one like this I’ve never seen its not like the one my mother had to do the sewing for my dad I’ll pull the cotton and see what shakes but that’s no good, the needle breaks at least it’s not stuck anymore and then he just walks out the door.
